Rare book about golfing and Romans. This book was published in xxxx and written in Latin with English subtitles. It was published exclusively only for the members of an orginization called 'The Brothers of the Book.' Some of the pages are frayed and there are some small watermarks on a few pages.

First complete edition (portions were published previously in the Chicago Tribune), privately printed for the Brothers of the Book; small octavo, 8 leaves; issued as Brothers of the Book Miscellanea Number 1, Latin text followed by English translation; paper wrappers has some water stains and some fraying on a few of the pages. But does not affect the graphics or text. Overall condition is excellent considering how old it is.
Caesar Augustus takes up golf and finds it isn't "such a baby game" after all; intended to needle those searching for earlier and earlier references to golf.

This one is far more rare, because this book is still in on 1 sheet of paper, it hasn't even been cut into its seperate pages yet. It has been folded held in place by a piece of string, the pages just have not been cut. Please see pictures.
